You'd think a 'bug' would be easily fixed, such as a software problem or engineering fault. Makes it sound like they have this huge machine up at Paisley Park that processes and stamps out the CDs and it's broken down and because it is magical no one knows how to fix it. It get's more and more like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory up there every day...

More likely he cancelled the 'chocolate invasion' because he heard so many people moaning about having to buy stuff they already have, but he doesn't want to admit the fans have that much of an effect on him...

The title of this song does seem somewhat pointed. Probably more so if he'd put 'Pearls b4 the Swine' up there...

Well at least they are telling people ahead of time there was a problem. Thats more than they have done in previous years. I think they handled it pretty nice this time.

This is such typical Prince! You'd think after 25 years in the busines he could manufacture a multi-disc set without issue. I agree that "manufacturing" issues are probably an excuse for the typical lack of planning that screw up most of his self-releases.

Why does he bother to tease us well in advance about all these great ideas that never see the light of day? He knows what his audience is and approx. how many units he can sell to NPGMC members. Next time, why not hold off on announcing anything until he is ready to take orders and ship. It's not like he needs to build hype. Most of us will buy whatever he puts out, within reason.

I know some folks think we're being overly critical of Prince, but as a fan since about 1982, this had happened so many times I've lost count. This lack of respect for his fans has only gotten worse now that he isn't tied to a record label.

I do feel like a sucker for not giving up on Prince. That's not a good feeling. It would be nice to actually have some input and respect as his best customers.

I am living in berlin and I received the npgmc notice about the indefinte TCI delay today. and yes, although I do have all the music of the TCI set I was looking forward to receive the box set in a nice packaging and in good ahdio quality. let's hope that the box set is coming out later! finally, compared to handling other projects npgmc seems to get more professional in their communication with us members! in earlier days we would have received such a mail after 4 months or even later!
