Does nobody actually go to work in the States???
How come nobody seems to have a problem when Prince turns round and says (for example)"Tomorrow Im going to be doing a gig in New York"...everyone turns round and says "wow Im defientely going!!!" HOW THE HELL CAN YOU GET TIME OF WORK AND JUST DROP EVERYTHING!!! Im baffled - when Prince gave us months notice that he was coming to London it was still a nightmare - I had to throw a sickie at work to get time off to book the NPGMC tickets (which I didnt get) then I had to negotiate for days about having the day off to give me tiem to get to London!!!  | |

You're too much of a pushover. Be forceful. When I used to start a new job I used to tell them that I would be going to Glastonbury that year, so they had to make a note of it now. My bosses know where they are on my priorities list and they know it's below Prince. Treat them mean, keep them keen.
