ON STAGE TICKETS

Honestly:- what are you getting for your money?! On stage for the whole concert? Why would you need to be closer than the withni the first 10 rows or so?

And as the price is so high Prince is under pressure to deliver SOMETHING right? Maybe he'll just lift your wallets/hand bags and jewllery. You'll not get out of there with a stitch of clothing or self respect. Anyone knwo what you're paying for?

The people who buy this tickets must be the same folks who buy from cold callers and tele marketers. The telemarketers aren't to blame. Its the idiots who buy what they're selling and keep the business going.

You have been warned.

This musics for aristocrats only. Funk has a price and is limitless.

You sound very bitter. If someone wants to spend their hard-earned/stolen/inherited/saved up for moments like this money then it's their business not yours.

I'm so bitter, but you're so sweet:

Actually, I'd say this post is more "aware," not to mention rational, than bitter.

Aerosmith does this. The people who buy "on stage" tickets are behind a velvet roped area in the middle of the stage off to one side. Steven Tyler struts around on stage and occasionally he'll put one of his feather boas around them. They are in ear shot of all his screams etc. They also get to be back stage with the band, take pictures with them, etc.

You know, some of the same stuff Prince has been doing with people he brings up on stage without the VIP status - only this is for the entire concert.

As far as the VIP thing is concerned with other performers who have been doing this - I always have wondered what they REALLY think of the people that spend that kind of money just to be around them.

I've bought one. I'm going dressed as Adolf Hitler and wearing no trousers.

I wonder what P would do if one turns on stage with the t-shirt "I joined NPGMC and all I got is this dirty t-shirt" smile

anyway, anyone's free to spend his/her money like he/she wants
cheers
Alex
