GREAT NEWS FOR DIAMOND TIX! BUT A QUESTION ABOUT AFTERSHOWS... .
I just purchased my tix with no problem for the diamond section. Great news that they stuffed up the original info and we now get into soundcheck! HOWEVER, there is news of confirmed AFTERSHOWS for Sydney and Melbourne, yet this is not mentioned within the ticket prices. Does this mean ALL members in Sydney and Melbourne go to the aftershows, too? That would be amazing, compared to what we thought we were getting yesterday! If anybody knows, POST HERE! . Check Funkystrange's thread in the org Prince forum. Apparently a moderator on NPGMC confirmed the following: "Aftershows - HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED - they are looking for venues right now ... in Melbourne and Sydney Last time he came to Australia he did a show. This time around the Australian shows will be more like a jam session." And apparently my question was answered in Funkystrange's thread - all members will get to go to the aftershow! About 15 mins ago I got a VIP seat in Sydney.
The lady on the phone said they had half sold (that took just over 2 hours). I'd suggest that if you want VIP get on the phone now as they will be sold out in Sydney by 1:00 pm or so. p.s i dont know about the other shows. I got a diamond ticket for the Melbourne show. I've decided not to go to Brissi unfortunately When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

just to clear things up
you can buy 2 tickets, one for a member and a guest. that includes access to the main show and soundcheck for both of you. Diamond tix definitely include soundcheck access as for aftershow access - that is still to be confirmed we were told they are still working things out - wait and see. so soundcheck = yes afterparty/aftershow = maybe Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now! | |

i got VIP 4 melbourne & the reason i wanted 2 go2 sydney also...was so that i would have a better chance of atleast seeing ONE aftershow.

HA HA HA ...You'll learn - see how happy you are when youve payed out for you special NPGMC tickets and they balls it all up so that you have to buy tickets from Ticketmaster at the last moment and sit towards the back.
At least you are in the show you think to yourself..this aint so bad - until the little twat on the stage starts to get teh front rows to turn round and sing "join the club!!!" in your direction because "if you cared about us youd join the club", "Im going to a party after this with my friends because they...joined the club" - It kinda takes teh shine off teh evening a little!!! | |
