for a single concert, it is insanely overpriced!

I can see it now, one of the reasons I know their going to use to justify these inflated/bull shite prices is the low cost to join the club. Get ready to be gauged!

Does Prince & the Club have full control over the Australia concert or is it a similar set up to the Hong Kong festival?

actually... it's only mildly overpriced. the exchange rate is .68 to the dollar. also, the membership was less this year...

all in all, it is still a little high, but not what most people think. my estimate is that for about the equivalent of last year, the aussies are paying about 225.00 a ticket for the middle catagory. plus they get guaranties that we didn't get, and the box set...

i'm NOT saying it's a great deal... but i AM saying that it is NOT as outrageous as some are saying. not nearly...

Next time Prince comes to town, make sure you pay your
sugar daddy a visit first.

Do a little physical limbo in his bed and make sure
you can get yourself some on-stage tickets.

Or just eat a lot and be fat enough to be invited onto
the stage for the dance contest and have P scrutinise
your weight in front of 10.000 onlookers.

actually...its terribly overpriced. the cheapest seat in the house is 116 us dollars. i don't know about you, or your financial situation, but thats a lot of money in my book. if prince only wants the better off crowd at his show, well, more power to him. i, personally, would never pay that much money to see the same ol' hits played.

does anyone have info on price ranges for the general public? it seems that it would be worth it to buy 50 dollar tickets and sit in the back rather than buy 116 dollar tickets and be on the floor behind a bunch of people you can't see over...not to mention, he is a little man who can be out of the field of vision.

Agreed. It IS terribly overpriced. Most artists who charge that much money at least can say they spend a lot on the staging, the costumes, whatever. Prince doesn't even give out tambourines anymore - you have to pass them back, so they can put them in the ratty cardboard box for the next show.
