Is the club reliable at sending out tickets?

Hi all,
have just joined NPGMC to ensure I get tickets for his Sydney show as am travelling on the 30th and won't be able to ring for tickets on the general public line.
Have heard the NPGMC aren't brilliant at sending out CD's on time, generally what are they like at sending tickets?
Cheers

They don't send out tix. You place you order online and get an order confirmation #. Print it out.

They put your name on a list at the door. You show a picture I.D. there, get a wristband and/or ticket. Presto!

I ordered tickets to shows in DC, London, Japan & Vegas last year. No problem with that part of the deal.

Confusion over whether NPGMC members are required to sit in seats designated on their tickets (NO!) can make the pre-show a bummer. (Ask everybody up front in line at the first London show.)

My advice: Find a venue seating chart. E-mail it to NPGMC. Make sure that they reserve the BEST center seats for members, not just the first X rows across the board. In some venues, some of the seats at the far ends of the front rows can be worthless -- like in Osaka.

Most importantly, have fun. Every show I've been to where there were line/seating hassles was so good, the aggro dissipated quickly.

Anxiety

Ordering tickets was no day in the park. But there's no point in complaining about it, as we're not exactly blessed with other choices.

Once they worked out the kinks after the first few shows, everything seemed to go rather smoothly.

Yes, and since the tickets that go onsale are Australia and Hongkong only, i doubt thr traffic will be so bad like it was last year.
I think the ticket thing really worked very well.

Last year they didn't need a lot of traffic for the site to go down... mostly they had different pre-sale dates for different shows, and NPGMC never did more than a couple of hundred transactions per pre-sale...
I think the biggest thing the aussies have going for them is the new servers NPGMC switched to this year... we'll see how it goes.

Last year i was lucky enough to go to 3 regular ONA shows and the Rotterdam and Paris aftershows (the ones you had to pay for). For all 5 shows I purchased my tickets 24 hours after the pre-sale started... I admit I was worried they might sell out before I got them, but that never happened and at least I avoided the nightmare most members went through (clicking refresh in their browser for 5 hours untill they finally got through)

OK, I understand this part, no problem. But at which stage do you pay for the tickets? When u place your order online? or do u just print out your confirmation, then take that to the ticket office and pay, then on the night they put your name on a list at the door.
