DiscLive.com live cds right after the show!

Disc live offers some cool stuff. www.disclive.com and Billy Idol have teamed up to release 11 cds of live shows from his latest tour. They are limited to 1000 copies each and go for $17.00 preorder to $20.00 day of the show these are 2 cds.

Maybe we should at least tell NPGMC about disclive, IMO musictoday handling the dvd/new cd this year has been better than what gage did!

Prolly Prince would not let this roll cause they print shit up unedited and all! Still nice to dream..Peace

Clear Channel is doing (soon) the same thing after shows at their venues. Clear Channel was integral to the ONA tour in the states.

Prince has been sent info on this from Clear Channel.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Prince doesnt need to do this. He just released a 3 disc live set and a live DVD! What else can you ask for? Being independent doesnt mean you can just overexpose yourself. Prince doesnt need to strike a deal with a website while playing tiny clubs across the country like Billy Idol. He can still get $100 for a ticket in a real venue.

Duran Duran is doin it too.

I think it beats the BOOTS, period. It's what Prince Fams have been wanting for a looong time.

I think it's time he consider it, at least through his club, special CD releases of shows from the archives/Vault, you know, for a limited time or NPGMC ONLY thing.

Even live videos, remember the biggest tease on the Interactive CD-ROM, Prince 87 New Years eve clip!?

This is awesome. I'm seeing Billy in S.F. and wish that my own show was on the list. But I kicked down for the NY show. Cool technology!
