Chaka Khan's album "Come 2 My House" now available at NPGMC Retail on CD or cassette* for $9.00
I think it's one of NPG's most underated albums. It's far superior to it's siblings New Power Soul and GCS2000. Check it out if you havn't already. *who the hell listens to cassettes anymore? Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

Bought this when they were offered as a 3 pack in a box - cool collectors item one day. It was a good triple threat offering like the Prince/The Time/Vanity 6 wave of the 1982.

By the way... someone on the org posted a thread on chaka discontinuing her working relationship with prince for some reason. I went to her site and nowhere is there a mention of prince or the "come2 my house" album; not in the bio, not in the discography. Any of you experts know anything more on the subject? The HQ-er formerly known as krokostimpy.

that's right, LaMont: with the inclusion of Larry G. it surely was a Triple Threat!
...as opposed to "Triple Treat".
