Cancelling an order with Musictoday ?

Anyone tried ? Anyone succeeded ?
How do I get in contact with them ?
Now that I can buy NEWS here in the UK for 8.99 GBP
it is pretty damn stupid paying US$13+ to get it from NPGMC
and having to wait even longer to get it from NPGMC than in stores - once again ...

Once again, Prince has done it again
gee who was surprised ?
Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!

I haven't tried it, but I'm seriously considering this, seeing as I can order the damn thing for £8.99 and receive it in a couple of days, as opposed to sometime next year.

Try contacting Musictoday at merchandise@musictoday.com.

Let me know how you get on (either org.note me or through a post here). If you have any luck I'll follow suit.

I wasn't surprised that Prince's people fucked up (again), just really disappointed. They can't seem to learn from their mistakes - and he seems to hire people who make a virtue of inefficiency. What a twat.

Umm wasn't it US who fucked up ? we cant seem to learn from our mistakes - we seem to believe prince would actually hire people who are actually competent and efficient ...

I never blamed Prince's people for the cost of the CD and overseas postage. I blame them for not pressing up enough CDs.

I sent my cancellation mail 2-Jul and got answer from merchandise@musictoday.com today (10-Jul).

I simply wrote them that I would like to cancel my order, gave them my order number and order information.

So the cancellation process worked just fine.

Congratulations. They took their time, didn't they? Don't forget to pick up a cheaper copy at your local shop next week.

Blame Prince's people? Isn't it his decision when to release an album to his club and then to the stores? The name on the CD is "Prince," isn't it? Blame him.
