I've read that it's only a NPGMC retail release and I've read that it will be in stores after NPGMC "members" had the chance to get it (like ONAL). One thing is for sure--it'll be on eBay for the highest bidder! | |

It will be in stores eventually. It will not be as cheap as $10 though. But yes, just like ONAL, members first. | |

Wonder why he wants to release it? I dig this so far, but it doesnt look like something that would sell much. The best idea is to make it "exclusive" to the members who join npgmc, and perhaps release a vocal/something that more people would perhaps enjoy.. | |

I'm with SDL. This doesn't seem at all like something he'd release to retail. Even though they weren't burning up the charts,TRC and ONA Live were a heck of alot more commercial than NEWS. | |

I'll help try and clear this up for everybody ... ...
I was in the NPGMC chat room on Sunday and a moderator entered the chat... I asked them if it would be in stores and he said 'yes' ... I then asked if there would be a European release and if it would be the same price, he replied 'none of this has been decided as yet but it will be availabe in stores.' I'm guessing that it WILL be released but only in the States like TRC was at first ... and it definately won't b as cheap as $10! Hope this helps, Picasso  | |

A few weeks ago someone claimed one of the Moderators said there would be no cd release until 2004. Are people putting words in the Moderators mouths or are the Moderators not as informed as people would like to believe? How much can you believe of what the Moderators say? | |

Unless Prince wants a backlash that will guarantee that he never has an album in stores again, I think NEWS will have to be labeled as "instrumental" on the package, and I don't think Prince can price an instrumental CD in stores at more than an "EP" price. So I'd expect it to be $10 at Best Buy. No Candy 4 Me | |
