Works fine here and always has - have you installed the latest Quicktime as well (6.3 I think) ?

Actually - the outer space intro is Flash, so it might be worth re-installing the Flash plug-in from:

I've never been able to get past the login screen with safari - just tried it with v1.0 and had the same problem. Has anyone been able to log into npgmc with safari?

Yes - I've only EVER used Safari for NPGMC this year and it worked fine!

I agree -- I've never been able to get passed the login screen at npgmc using Safari, including version 1.0. The idea of re-installing the Flash plugin seems like a good one, though.

You could also try using this URL instead of the plain old one. Hopefully a password window will open and ask for your details there instead:

I've been using the various Safari beta versions and now the final 1.0 version and have never had a problem with the NPGMC site. I would guess that you need to update your Flash plugins as Safari, in and of itself, has no problems with the site.
