The above link will give you the mail order form for N.E.W.S. The guy I spoke with at MUSICTODAY did specify that a phone check isn't possible. That said, you can do money order or check via snail mail. do keep in mind that you will need to have a valid NPGMC username/password for MUSICTODAY to process the order.

I called on the phone, had him confirm my NPGMC membership and he then gave me a customer number to include on the order form.

Anyone having problems with not being directed to the musictoday order form but NPGMC joining page, turn off any internet security. It worked for me.
