I think you can hear from sample in the VAULT III that the CD isn't just "gave a key and we played", because of the effects you can hear. | |

I thought he had some direction I'm pretty sure Eric Leeds has not heard the finished cd yet ! I bet prince has let musicians play on a specific tempo or around a pre-written melody. Then he must have used all those sessions to add his own parts + production + arrangements + mix. When you listen to the East sample it doesn't sound like something played in one session. | |
