Posting in the U Tell Us forums and elsewhere on there is a much better way to express dissatisfaction than leaving completely (although you know you'll get the music either way, right? angels hook people up...and of COURSE i wouldn't be referring to MYSELF, b/c the Paisleys would have my queer hide for that!!).

I stay away from the Knowledge forums b/c it depresses me that so many of the few remaining Prince fans are wacked-out religious nut-jobs.

As if at least 50% of Prince's material up through the late 90's wasn't about sex. I wonder what these people would do if they didn't know who Prince was and saw him out on the street. Oh wait, I KNOW what they'd do...they'd snicker to themselves about his high heels and makeup.

As long as I am not flaming someone, I can give my opinion without people jumping all over me. I know that NPGMC is just a website with people I don't ever know on it, but I feel that my opinion is just as valid as anyone else's whether they may think I am being silly or over-sensitive or any of that crap. It's stressful and I know I shouldn't let it stress me out but it does. People never know that the person they are browbeating or ridiculing could be a person who is in serious mental trouble. Prince's music has always drawn the freaks, the outcasts, the ones with low self-esteem, hell, we all are a little of everything. It's funny. When I said that I was gonna be leaving over there, only one or two people even gave a fuck. That's why I don't say too much over there. Yeah, I wish I had the balls to say what I truly feel and call some of the people over there on some of the shit they say to others, cuz it's really harsh sometimes. Nobody has the right to browbeat folks like that. It's pretty hard to say anything when Prince himself won't address the racism going on on his own site. He doesn't give a rat's ass, so why should I?
