New music in Reflection room... again!

Soul Sanctuary
She Loves Me 4 Me
When 2 R In Love

Two weeks ago we had the "Morris Day" theme, last week we had the "instrumental" theme, so I guess you could call this weeks the "love ballad" theme!

I know they're all old songs, but if they keep going at
this rate, by the end of the year 150 songs will have
passed through the reflection room. All of which can be
saved to your harddisc. Ok, only 96kb and most of them
will be tracks most of us already have. But there are
some people out there, I'm sure who have been listening
to AlexaDeParis all week long, glad they finally have a
version of it.

So far I've got the Madhouse track, and Universal Love from there that was new to me, so I got no complaints

i hear what you're saying, IstenSzek, and i'm very happy that they put up some more obscure songs...

it's just that every time i see a post that says "new songs!" i get all excited and then once i start reading i'm all, "oh...it's only she loves me 4 me...i've paid for that track at least twice already..."

don't mind me, i'm just grumpy today.

toejam, how long have you been a fan? (just curious...i'm not saying that someone who has been a fan longer is "more" of fan..that's ridiculous. i'm just wondering if you were a fan in '94 when the space cd was released).

i'm psyched about NEWS on june 19th!!!

I think the new (old) tracks are great news. I take it that P is putting these out for some reason and it does no harm to return to some tracks that maybe I havent listened to for a while.

Apart from which, although I class myself as quite a fan, I dont have any Time or Madhouse material and I havent got a complete set of Prince CDs yet, so the Reflection Room has been great for me so far.

Been a fan for almost 5 years now. I live in Australia, so it's hard to find some of the older stuff such as Madhouse etc.

Anxiety

You know, it could just be that this is in the top 2% of my favorite songs by anyone, but if I were an NPGMC member who'd never heard "Alexa de Paris" and got to hear that download in the Reflection room for the first time, I'd honestly feel that it was $25 well spent. It's songs like "Alexa" that got me excited about the guy's music in the first place.

Maybe with enough positive feedback over at the club, we can get more of the out-of-print classics dumped in the pool? Judging from the current selections, it looks like someone peed in the shallow end.

OMG, I call it remembering why I love Prince in the first place. I haven't heard Soul Sanctuary in years, and I swear it MADE me remember! horny I can't even explain how much I love that song.
