why in the HELL won't my picture light up for clicking in the reflection room?

This is my first attempt to use NPGMC with a Mac...anybody got a clue as to how to d/l from the club? I have the song on my computer...somewhere. I can still play it even when I disconnect, but I can't save it! Anyone?

Click on the picture and it will guide you to a room where Prince is layin down listen to his music. It will have the option of downloading it in Low or High.. Its really busy or something currently.. I think.

Its not available for download directly, it just downloads the thing, then plays it through your browser. You still gotta trawl through your temporary internet files. (Thats how it works on my PC, anyhoo).

When I went to download the Mp3 last night, it prompted me to enter my Username and password.

When I did that it came back like I entered it wrong. The field for entering the password had more characters in it than I typed.

So I haven't been able to download it.


BTW...that pic of Prince listening to his music is yummy.

Help please, whenever I click on the download link it automatically starts to play through WMP and I can't right click on the link to download it.
Is there a way round this, I can't see it in my temporary files either! Damn!

If you play it completely it's got to be in your temporary files.
If you can't find it try deleting your temporary files first and then play the song.If you order the temporary files then,it will be the biggest file.

click on the left side of the reflection page...there's a new link there - it takes you to a separate page with the download options. it might only be on the flash version, i'm not sure.

sorry. i meant to say that i can't locate the file on my computer. i am able to download it. i just don't know where it's going...

oh...try doing a file search for reflection...

I like this song the more I hear it. I think I gonna burn it right now.

It took me 20 minutes or so for it start playing so be patient after you click it. Thanks Sdldawn!

Maybe someone can help me..I tried to download, it took 20 mins to play and it wasn't in my temp files, or if it is I can't find it. I tried the above suggestions, deleted all and logged off and then logged back on. Went straight to theclub and tried again. I have shockwave files and just pages from the website in all the big files...

Anymore suggestions you all have, I appreicate. I am giving up for the night. 3 tries.

why does it always have to be so difficult with the NPGMC? you click on a button that says download and nothing obvious happens for quite a while - I clicked many times because it didn't look like it was doing anything. Then finally a player window opened in my browser that I couldn't save the file with - it took so long for anything to show up that I almost gave up. I had to hunt in my temporary files folder, to find the random named file that looked like the right size and finally drop that onto iTunes.

On my windows machine it was even worse. I clicked on the "hi" button and got the busy cursor for a second, and then nothing. No visible indication that anything was downloading. No file on my disk. No player in my browser. I kept clicking on both the hi and low button trying to make something happen and nothing ever came up - I finally closed the browser window and tried it on my mac, to get the above results. I even tried the html access thinking it'd make downloading easier, but the html version of the club doesn't even let you download the song. It took at least 25 minutes from the time I decided to finally sign on and download the song until the time I had the song on my drive.

When I compare this to the experience I've had buying songs off of the iTunes Music Store, it's just even more unbelievable. At the iTunes store, see a song, click buy, and about a second later it's downloaded and in your play list. And the total time to lauch iTunes, click on the music store, type in "reflection", get the search result, find a song, click buy, download, and play, is 10 seconds. I did most of it just now to time it - I didn't click buy because, of course, Prince's Reflection is not available at the iTunes store. Instead you have to pay $25 to join a club where it takes 25 minutes to download a single song.
