well, without coming down on shorty (cuzz'n i lurve ya), i don't understand why people think shausler's being "impatient."

i mean yer fucking kidding, right? i think EVERY prince fan knows what it's like to be fucking patient...all we do anymore is WAIT WAIT WAIT.

for the record, no, i don't like the 3-cd live thing, and i never listen to it. which is fine, i mean i was clamoring for a live album as much as anyone...but - i dunno, this one just sounds so FLAT and uninspired. it almost makes me question whether or not the concert i attended was really THAT amazing or if i was just in awe b/c it was PRINCE.

and as for year one...shorty, the only reason i ever complained about year one (and i think this goes for most of the others too) is because the ONLY time we were ever given something out of the vault was the first month (and they got me hook, line and sinker)...also, keep in mind that the first 2 months heavily featured "motherfuckers" in a couple of the songs - and then after that point they began the annoying backmasking...they were consistently late putting up the tracks, and then when they started putting up shit like thieves in the temple and horny pony and get wild miami mix...well, i mean, HELL YEAH i was bitching, that's bullshit.

and although there was maybe 1, 1/2 cd's full of AMAZING live stuff spread out throughout the ahdio shows all year, the rest was just stuff we already have, rather poorly edited.

at least the first few months there was some "thought" put into it...after that it was clearly on "auto-pilot."

so i don't it's fair to say that everyone was bitching about year one, b/c if it had been handled reasonably, NObody would have bitched.

and jesus christ i want some goddamned new music too, i'm getting CRANKY.

musically, this year is JUST like last, except this year he promised nothing and charged 1/4 as much. keep in mind this is the ONLY reason i joined.

i'm still pissed off about how things were handled last year. the fact that a lot of you seem to think it was some incredible year b/c of the xenophobia tracks that were released to download please keep in mind that when i signed up for $100 it explicitly stated that i was going to have access to the following 4 experiences: one nite alone, madrid 2 chicago, the best of 0(+> and xenophobia.

so the brilliant music we got aside, we SHOULD have xpectation plus the track xenophobia ON CD with artwork, and we should have the 2-cd best of thing that he had already promo'd in the first year of his club (remember prince: a celebration?) ON CD with artwork, and we should have madrid 2 chicago, ON CD with artwork. i understand some of you would prefer what we got, but that is what *i* bought with my $100 last april, and it's simply not what i received.

and shorty, why is the reflection track not up? name one good reason why it's no longer available. i mean i know you'll come up with something but i just gotta hear what it is - anyone else, feel free to chirp in.

Year One was great . . . enough unreleased tracks to fill 2 CD's, and that's just the finished studio tracks (not counting live songs or Ahdio transmissions). Add to that the videos, and I have no complaints . . .

Year Two was somewhat of a disappointment to most, mainly because we thought we were getting 4 separate albums -- instead we got ONA, ONAL, and the Xpectation downloads. If Year Two had been $50 instead of $100, I'd have no complaints. But the $100 wasn't justified for what we got last year . . .

Year Three has just begun! I mean really, we're only a month or so into it, and already people are complaining. The $25 is a nominal fee, and the new site and chat room are nice. We'll see what he offers later in the year, but for now BE PATIENT!

No...I'm afraid that is definately an incorrect statement. If all fans were "whining willy's", "bitching betty's", and "gimme gus's". There would not be a club period! If you think that all the complaining is what got Prince to open the club for a third year, you are sadly mistaken. And if you think it's going to make Prince release anything before he is good and damn ready, you are totally clueless.

I joined the club last year because they made it open to people who didn't own a computer. We were able to get the music because they mailed it out. Now they've started the downloads up again...so people who don't own a computer have no reason to join this year.
