Hi all,

I joined NPGMC last year, and understood that I just missed the CD mailout, but that I would get my CDs when the next mailout happens.

But what happens now its all changed? I've renewed my membership (even tho it wasn't expired hmmpf!), but will there ever be another CD mailout? If not, what happens to those of us still waiting for our CDs from our $100 membership?

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

But dont mention it to anyone cuz teh psychos think you are being unreasoanble if you say you didnt get what you paid for.

Really! I dont know why I used a "!" I'm not surpised, OK I feel an email to NPGMC coming on, I mean, would anyone here give over say $40 to an attendent in HMV and say, "nah mate! you keep it, I didn't really want the CD", I dont think so.

I mean, weldone to Prince to try and change the way things are done, but I dont think it was supposed to work this way.

Eye never received ONA Live & had 2 buy it in a record store... eye asked many times about it, but got no answer yet...

I strongly feel that you should harass the club until they give you either your product or a complete refund. It will be frustrating as hell, but if you just make sure that you keep bothering them, starting with a polite request and slowly graduating to a resounding roar, I think you'll get a refund at least.

Last year when they sold the bootleg copies of the beautiful experience and the sacrifice of victor, I sent them right back to the club and then sent them an e-mail, telling them that I wanted an explanation as to why they think they're not accountable to laws regulating online commerce and mail fraud, and letting them know that I expected an immediate refund.

At first, they kept reiterating what it says in the T&C, which is no refunds for any reason whatsoever. However, it's not legal to offer a product through the mail and neither deliver the product or a refund. PERIOD. No matter what kind of legal jargon londell wants to write on the sign-up page. They just say that b/c they love the money and don't wanna give it up once they receive it, and they figure that if they say that maybe people will accept it.

I wrote an e-mail which said exactly that, saved it into a Word file, and e-mailed it to them over and over for about 5 days, until they finally responded and told me they had credited the money to my card.

If you haven't received your music or a refund or an acceptable explanation from the club, PLEASE deluge them with e-mails asking them why they are ripping you off. Post those e-mails in a public site - why not the org? Despite what anyone might say, there is NOTHING illegal or immoral about posting communications between a customer and a company so that other customers can see.

It makes me mad that this kind of shit is still happening and nobody seems to care.

I will start me email compaign today! Its a shame it has to come to this, but in the end, no one wants to get ripped off no matter how fucking good the artist is.

it shouldn't be about who the employees of the club like personally. everyone pays - everyone should get the same amount of music. or am i missing something?

My experience with NPGMC regarding music hasn't been all that bad, i.e., I received my product(s).

NPGMC actually delivered the box set twice, due to my original shipment being stolen off my front porch. The only possible beef that I legitmately had with the NPGMC was the length of time in shipping the CDs to my home. However, in all fairness, I don't think it is as easy to handle this process as we might think.

I corresponded with someone at the email link provided by NPGMC and they replied to me as nice as you'd like (using Princebonics of course!) and eventually handled whatever the problem was with delivery of my box set. UPS wasn't happy, I guess that insurance covered the second product delivery.
