i'm being ignored by members of the music club.i think maybe i'm not intelligent enough or religous enough to be taken notice of. any thread i create gets totally ignored and it pisses me of .i'm sick of reading about god and love and hearing their sob stories of pain and anguish. i believe they making a lot of this shit up in the hope that prince is reading it and will feel compelled to contact them. let me tell u people it aint gonna happen. i'm sorry but i have to have my say!!!

i guess these guys tend to be abit ignorant and over opinionated too but at least they talk about significant stuff and not bloody bible bashing!!!ofcourse there are the "favourites"

Don't understand why you think you are being ignored. Do you mean on the NPG chat. Sometimes everyone welcomes you but other times, it is a closed shop.

Don't worry about it - I for one will never ignore you.

I never have good luck in the chats (here OR at NPGMC), but then again, they're never talking about anything that interests me, so maybe that's just not a place that's meant for me.

As for the bulletin boards, just throw out stuff you find interesting without expecting anything in return, and before ya know it, people will be throwing stuff back at you.

How do you get to the bulletin board on NPGMC (with threads, etc)? I've only managed to find a chat room...

Go to the first staircase on the left. It will take you to a place with three rooms. Go to the room that says "Time". In there you will find the music club news, the Digital Garden and the U Tell Us section, which is where the message boards are. You click in the middle section for that one.

I always check the .org first cause it's easy to use, and doesn't skrew all my MBs like the NPGMC does. Then if there is something new, I'll go to the club and get it/see it.

i think a lot of people have been hesitant to talk about 'normal' stuff but i think it might be starting to catch on...

try the 'member connection' forum..that's where the goofier threads seem to end up...(not calling either of you 'goofy'..just saying that section seems more light-hearted than some of the others...)

'u tell us' has sorta become a catch all and it is easy to lose threads in that forum...

i'll tell you a secret...

i've only looked at the 'knowledge' forum twice...people may be too 'smart' for me too...


i think it will balance out at some point...hopefully..in the meantime just try to have fun with it...

So what are you saying, SensualMelody? You heard from Prince? If you're not going to tell us, why bother mentioning it at all, except to brag in a noncommittal fashion?

OH PLEEEZE... I post threads in the forum - the only replies I get are my own, I'm lucky to get 2 real responses The chat is a bit more friendly IMO but it depends on who's in there. Most of the time it's pretty welcoming but other times it ain't cool. You just gotta bust in & say "hi" to the room - unless they're assholes, somebody is gonna respond.

It's just like the Org - the more people you know, the more "response" you'll get all around. @ the end of the day, does it really matter? Just say what you gotta say & move on. I mean, are you saying it b/c you feel it or are you just looking for a reaction?
