someone had posted something along the lines of "Brother Larry Graham, please join us in the Chat Room soon!!"

and i bravely swallowed down the bloody bile that my system had violently regurgitated...

and then responded, saying that while larry is no doubt a legendary bass player, i prefer sonny t's style, and anyway, there's really no need for him to preach to anyone in the chat room, since he preaches enough through Prince already.

oh, and i remember saying something about the fact that he should never be allowed near a microphone again, cuz his voice is creepy.

oh yeah...actually, come to think of it, this is most likely what was deemed "abusive" by the moderators: i said that tina graham scares me, and anyone who isn't scared by tina graham scares me.

i think i also expressed the opinion that i and many others share that "Brother Larry Graham" seems to be responsible for Prince's recent jehovah's witness conversion and therefore much of the recent lyrical and moral hypocrisy in prince's music and actions.

of course, now that the post has been deleted, i guess there's really no way for me to know exactly which part of the message was deemed abusive.

how is it that prince can sing "abraham lincoln was a racist" yet on this message board we're not allowed to be "purposefully spiteful and biting" - i mean, i AGREE with his sentiment regarding lincoln, but certainly that line is degrading to lincoln, right?

Calling someone a "racist" is not being spiteful or biting. Saying someone was unjust on matters of race is not about being angry, bitter, or upset... it is just a statement.

i don't really understand why you seem to go out of your way to be censored?...it seems you knew the post would be deleted..just as it seems you knew you'd be kicked out of the chat room for using profanity...

they seem to let a lot of stuff stay..a lot of stuff that i wouldn't have even thought would stay stays...

there are certainly a lot of people trying to live up to their perception of what prince would want..and i agree it's silly to do that..but there are other people that are just hanging out, posting, whatever...certainly not everything posted in the forums agrees with whatever you believe prince believes in right now...

i mean, say what you want...to friends..over here...start your own anti-npgmc site if you want...but it's pretty clear that some things will never be okay over there...they also deleted an insulting comment concerning michael jackson...so it's not just because this was larry & tina...

read some of anxiety's posts over there...he raises a lot of questions..openly disagrees..and does it all with a lot of thought behind it...and he's never just vicious...
it can be done..

i'm just not sure that calling larry graham 'creepy...' or saying 'anyone that isn't scared of tina graham scares me...' is really something you could have expected the moderators to leave up...

let me also say that if nupwrsoul uses '4th grade logic' 4th graders must be extremely advanced these days...

as i recall, 4th graders were prone to throw fits when things were not done to their liking...and whine about it constantly...and call people names...
seems there could be some 4th grade logic at work around here..but not from nupwrsoul...
