I don't think there is considerable room for open dilalogue in the Paisley camp anymore. It's just sad. Community is a great thing, and community inspired by art is an even better thing. I really think that Prince and/or the NPGMC peeps saw the org and thought, "Neat! Now, if we could just get a cleaner, happier version of that at our site, that would be nifty spiff!" And SOOO many of those people are thrilled to play along. It's like a giant role-playing game, with all of these people playing Aura/Mayte/Muse sort of roles that they think fit what P wants for the site. Pfft. It's too bad people can't just be themselves. I stick around hoping that the froth will die down after awhile and the good parts of what they have set up there can come through. Plus, it's fun to refuse to play along.  | |
