Are all of these vids and songs still available?
I have yet to sign up because my PC and Internet connection are so lousy, but I will be signing up when my new machine comes through next week or so. I Hope I don't miss anything! Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

Why shouldn't we expect anything new? When I signed up the first weekend, I and most others assumed the NEW SONG in that room was called "reflection" - there was no way for us to know, "well, even though there's a new song in there now, clearly b/c of the name we can't expect anything else new in there"
and 25 bucks is still 25 bucks. if i go out and spend 25 bucks on music, i guarantee you i'll actually HAVE some music. a few weeks ago i spent $25 on prince music and thankfully i was able to get the new song before it was taken down. still, $25 for a song isn't exactly a CHEAP PRICE, so i really wish people would stop saying "well what did you expect for the price?" - that's silly. i expect MUSIC - it's still called a MUSIC club. I think he meant don't expect anything new in the "Reflection room". Not don't expect anything new at all.

Well, I really don't hve a problem with a "Reflection" room being a look back at old tracks (all of which I already have). At the same time, I do expect the NPG Music Club to have new music. Why would I pay $25 to hear a random set of 3 songs I already have? I have (I think) everything Prince ever released in CD, plus the full contents of years one and two of the club, all loaded into iTunes. Why should I be happy with what I get if I already bought it in the past? It's not unreasonable for people to expect some new music from a music club. If the reflection room is for previously released music, where is the vault room for unrelased music, and the studio room for new music? Well, there is the Vault II and the Vault III that are under construction, but what evidence is there that this would be anyting significantly differnet than the Vault I, which is simply a fancy discography from the WB years. |

I agree that we should get more new/previously unreleased music out of the club. We do have at least 7 months to go so I'll give it a a little bit longer before I proclaim failure on their part. But that's just me.
