Aren't the versions of Space and 7 already found on our maxi-singles and isn't Pearls on ONA? If so why do we need to bother listening to it all scratchy and in low quality on a website?

These are the direct links to the new songs: Is it any wonder why he took down the Reflection song? He offers up something just for us to listen to and reflect on and right away folks got to start taking and doing things against his wishes. greedy, greedy, greedy - take, take, take. Who cares what Prince wants, right? His own fault for making music we want.

how could somebody with such great taste in movies be such a pretentious fuck?
"right away folks got to start taking and doing things against his wishes." eh? what do you mean by that exactly? the fact that people figured out it was stored in your temporary internet files and therefore they could burn a copy and listen to it, say in their car as opposed to at their computer? oh, yeah, that's right, prince's wishes are that nobody should be able to listen to his new music in the car. yeah right. donnie, yer such a freaking hard-ass about the club. i wonder...do you own any bootlegs? i'm just curious. also, are you happy with the space universal love mix? granted, it's a kick-ass song and (imho) the last Great Prince Single, but are there really people out there that drop their money on the club yet don't have the freaking basic official releases? You still need a username and password to get these, so stop about worrying about it!
BTW - I thought Warner owned the rights to some of these songs (Anna Stesia, Elephants, 7 etc), so how is Prince allowed to release them himself anyway? Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

I thought this too, starting in year 1 of the club when "Thieves in the Temple (remix)" and "Horny Pony" were part of the monthly downloads. yes, warners DOES own the rights to them - so prince gets to screw them AND his fans out of money, all in one fell swoop!!

Prince isn't "releasing" anything with these particular songs. The ones you mentioned and the remixes that are up now were "released" years ago. If the various Prince Internet Radio stations can play them on their websites why can't he play them on his.

Just find the song titles and download them from Kazaa. It's the best way. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "
