I'll start...

I'm kind of quiet here, but at the NPGMC, I'm viewed as a controversial, non-conformist. I'm positive I'm on their hit list and they're waiting for me to make one false move...why?

1) I'm anti-organized religion--which means I'm anti-JW and anti-NWT.
2) I point out the biases towards the NWT that the site displays.
3) I believe Prince's stuff stinks just like everyone else's--and I say it.
4) Although I do not idolize Prince, I admit that others do and many of them revere him as a God (remember Natasha?)
5) I call the moderators on their evasivness.
6) I'm willing to admit that Prince has a past that includes "Dirty Mind", G-Strings, Ass-out Pants, and just vulgarity in general (not that that's a bad thing ).

I know I'm not the only one. Who else feels like they will soon become a "Banished One?"

Unfortunately, you'll just have to get used to it. There's nothing like religious bigots to ram hypocrisy down your throat.

Right now Prince is a JW and he is right about everything, just as he was when he sang about oral sex and shagging everything that moved. In two years time he'll be a Tibetan Buddhist and he'll be right about that again.

Why oh why are people making such a ding dong about being banned from NPGMC. You won't be banned from there unless you are rude to others like swearing etc . . . and the same goes here.

some chatters tlak openly about outtakes etc... and they are not kicked out... I've never felt "handcuffed" there as i nerver felt "handcuffed" here...

As I play back and forth with whether I want to remain a member of the NPGMC, I truly do not feel I am free to truly speak my mind over there. Before others tell me to be true to myself, I do not want to ruin the positive experience the fams over there seem to be having.

The only danger in sucking as an artist is people find other artists to listen to! I have enjoyed the music Prince has created over the years including the past few years, I do find myself listening to much different music, artists just as good as the man IMO! The NPGMC is sometimes 'a day late a dollar short' but hey its Prince! Your gonna pay the price. Ya know what your getting with the NPGMC which is you have no fucking clue what your getting!! In fact I think they sometimes have no clue what they will give, from what I've seen. Tho Prince maybe into the JW thing I don't care, I figure we all have our own agendas and focusing on our own life is better than worrying about a well off artist or worrying about the NPG. The spirit of what the music once was still lives in us all, what IMO most of us love with the best of Prince, the best purple drugs are in our hands already, take as you wish!

now me personally, i figure of one of those sheep has his or her experience "ruined" by me contributing to the dialogue with my thoughts and challenging the cultish side of things, and asking for MUSIC...then that's on them.

Any desire I had to chat or post at npgmc was diminished in the first few days of the club, when somene started a thread in the U Tell Us section while it was unmoderated, begging for moderators. Guess that's the JW element, but the guy/girl actually seemed scared of being flamed.

The only reason I continue 2 subject myself 2 the vibe of this site is because the chat is off the chain. It's great when I can open the eyes of an NPGCultMember or stop a religious conversion by the PaisleyParkers

As far as the forums, I post even less there than I do on the org (it's taken me over a year to make a 100 posts here), but the reasons are different.
--On the org, I rarely post because surely someone else will say what I am thinking
--On the NPGMC, I don't post because of the cultish vibe...and I'm one of the very few who is thinking at all. I'm sure if I made a spectacle of myself by posting on the forum, I would be booted with the quickness
