I've joined every year...but it was a little better this year because of the price.

I did. I figure I could spend that much on McDonalds in a week. So, I'd rather gamble it on the possibility of music and goodies instead of a week of greasy bowel movements.

The price was the main reason why I joined again because I wasn't going to give him another $100.

So how are you going to feel if Prince sells you another $100 worth of DVD's and cd's that you would have gotten for just one $100? Just curious.

I would have never joined again for a hundred bucks. At least this year, if he charges extra for new albums, I can pick and choose what I want. Also, in addition to the low price, they finally remodeled the club and are tryin somethin totally new. I'm under the impression they've listened to peoples comments and are really taking a step to make the club more active. I totally support that.

agree with tom. no way i'd be a member this year if it was $100 again. $25 i can live with, and now i can buy an album or dvd or whatever if i want to, and i can seek it out and get the best price, etc. - it's not just this whole mystery when-am-i-gonna-get-anything-for-my-money thing like last year was.

as for year 1 w/ monthly downloads? it's great in theory but when you look at the song he "chose" to make "available" to us it just makes you scratch yo head and go HUH?

I was a member last year, but I am not sure if I will join again. 25 dollars is not that much, but IMO a fansite should be for free, especially from an artist who once was talking about freeing the music sad sad
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I did have issues with the club last year, but I never considered not joining again. The soundcheck/concert made it worth it to me.

I would've joined this year even if it was $100 - but the $25 price was easier for me to justify.

Does anyone know what the $25 includes? Is it just a membership fee, or does it cover the cost of the DVD? Just curious . . .

Better. This way you know what you are going to get before you stump up the cash, and have a choice to do so. In 2002 you paid your $100, didn't know what you were going to get for it, and had to wait for 12 months to find out what you did get.

If Prince does sell CDs/DVDs throughout the year it will make a lot more happier members. This way, Prince can sell what he wants, without having to put out a release to fulfil his side of a CONtract. And we then will have the choice whether to purchase. Who can argue with that?

I with Se7en on this one.

I would have forked over the $100, but $25 made it a little easier.

Either way, he'll get the $$$, so what difference does it make.

so could anyone tell me exactly what we're going to get then? b/c it's still totally unclear - that much has not changed. of course, i agree, i'd much rather gamble on an unknown for $25 than i would for $100. just saying.
