Finally, thanks to the "how to download thread" I have seen the videos, and heard the "relection" song.

I still cannot get any of the remixes, but I am now past caring.

The Vegas live stuff is extremely good, and makes me remember why I liked Prince in the first place. Particularly on the work he seems to be moving and grooving better than ever.

The downside, well, Reflections is yet another simple and sweet song ruined by Prince's constant need to put horrendous twee little signatures in his songs ! This keeps happening over and over again.

It first appeared in Diamonds and Pearls, and its made more and more appearances ever since.. its like a Vegas Showtime musical flourish... da da da dah !

I know what you mean...I think. I really noticed it in The One..the little bits that just really grind and make it a little bit uncomfortable to listen to.

I find that he's started singing alot in a really rough & croaky falseto (for want of a better description)...compare the voice on Adore to that of The One - its not quite as smooth or easy to listen to.

I just think he thinks it sounds good - from what Ive heard Reflection is actually quite a 'smooth' song I think and he doesnt really have a prob live

That's right! Just listen to "Avalanche" live (maybe not the ONA Live version, but whatever...).
In NY for example is voice was so clean and pure on that one.

BTW, I think he has sung songs like that all his carrer through.
