Help, I have windows media player 9, but the videos still won't play. What's the problem?

same problem for me? no preload!!!

So far my experience with NPMC2003:

- access denied at the "entrance gate". Took me ages to find the link to get in

- can't get "Reflection" to play without stopping every 2 seconds

- can't get videos to play

- takes 2-3 minutes to go from room to room

- STILL nothing new in the retail section

I'M STARTING TO GET REALLY PISSED OFF!!

I'm trying my best not to be too negative, but this is my experience so far.

it seems that everything is working is working this morning, but not the videos ! there is two identical rooms with videos.

Where exactly do you have to click to hear Reflection???

Click on the pool to hear reflection.

I can get into the Video room, the curtains come up, the lights dim...and the room goes black...and stays black...then still stays black.
Then I get really frustrated, swear at my computer and sulk. Where are the Vids?!?!

Toejam I feel the same about the club.
The only stuff that´s interesting to me is preferred seating (although it´s unlikely he´ll tour soon), downloads and members only retail (only dvds and cds) - hopefully available very soon, since I´m not into the rest of the "mickey mouse music club".

I'm finding it difficult too but am so happy that the Music Club is back. Part of the fun is working it out for yourself. Please don't start complaining already - give it time, there are bound to be a few probs.

Well I cant get into the vids,VIP area or retail room...Its hard not to feel miffed because,to be honest, tehy shouldnt have launched yet if they hadnt got it right - theyve had 3 years to learn from

bugs bugs bugs : already 11 , AND THE SITE IS JUST 18 hours online, not even a day . These first 9 are only the bugs you can expect when you try to connect or registrate to the site .
The 10th and 11th is a site bug , and pardon me to say , if you give me the time I get 10 more out of it .




1st bug :
when going back to the login screen, en you click on the gate , you get back to the home screen .

2nd bug :
when registrating user info , state is a required field, it contains states like alabama etc , never knew that in europe was a state Alabama etc

3rd bug :
The server still isn't capable of proccessing lots of traffic . You get constantly timeouts

4th bug :
Lots of errors in the site

5th bug :
It's not possible to registrate again with the same username as in 2002

6th bug :
When registrating fails , because username is taken, and belive me, I have a name that nobody else have , ok, you enter a new name ,than still you get the error that state is required, we in europe have no states , but bigger bug, all the data in the registration form keeps on the screen, BUT VISA IS CHANGED INTO MASTERCARD

7th bug :
When you try to log in on the main screen :
It doesn't work , you will get the main screen bck

Ok, you have given a VISA card numer, and selected VISA, now in your details is shown : MASTERCARD

10th bug :
The videos don't work, I don't care if they're busy with it, when you release something, it has to work .



I don't think Prince will win prices with this site, it's simply not easy usable. You have to click 5 6 buttons to go to the videos fi. .Just place a menu , put that in flash , where you can select multimedia or something like that . EVERY site does it that way .



11th bug :
Ask for your registration data , I'm from europe, it says I'm from AFGANISTAN hahahaha , my language is CHINESE hahahaha , what a joke .
MASTERCARD it says ?, yeeh whatever, VISA I have .

I'm so glad I'm a "wait & see" kind of person. I would be losing my mind if I had to go through what all of you are going through right now.

But honestly, no other business could survive with such consistent problems. I wouldn't keep on going to a restaruant if they kept on fuckin up my food even if I though they had some of the best shit in town! Only diehard Prince fans would put up with this. I really hope the NPGMC doesn't continue to have these types of problems if they have plans to growth.
