I think that 1492 refers to when Columbus "supposedly" discovered America. I believe that all the phrases flying past were false sayings or superstitions/urban legends.

That was definitely a thought provoking intro.

Some of those phrases were interesting...

"Prince only writes about sex"
"Pretty girls can't cook"
"Black people like to eat chicken"
"The earth is flat"
"The earth is a unique sphere"
"Break a mirror is 7 years bad luck"
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
"Money can't buy you happiness" (I think that's what it said)
"Oh yeah"

Something about 'the bible subjugates women' (not sure about the exact wording on that one)

That's all I can remember right now.

I thought that it was cool that some of the phrases had answers to them like when "Money can't buy you happiness' flew by, later on "but it will help with search" came later. Maybe he was just exploring different mindsets.

Yeah - I thought it was a kool intro, but then I came back 2 the org 4 a few secs, and then when I came back, it was back on the NPGMC jingle loop once more - I guess they were still ironing out the creases in the site or something...
