Video HELL! I'm generally a patient person, but I've reached my limit with the new vids. After passing through the endlessly overwrought site images to get to the clips, all of my attempts to watch have ended miserably. So far, the best I've been able to achieve has been a 10 minute broken stream of the audio tracks for the videos, WITHOUT THE IMAGES! Come on, now.
It's crazy. I see the standard cumulative buffering on the media player, and I begin to get hopeful. But then, I watch in horror as the buffering actually REVERSES itself! What's with that? Then, just bits and spurts of the music only. The net result for me is total frustration. I have a decent setup. DSL connection with Win 98. The player has been upgraded. look at the properties of the video when you're trying to download it and then cut and paste the URL in the browser. Thanks. I've tried. Doing that just takes me back to the homepage for the Club. I've then tried going to the video area, but once I'm there, the same crap happens with the videos. Has anyone ever seen the buffering reverse itself?! Truly strange, but hey, we're dealin' with the NPGMC. You've got to WANT IT with this Club. Someone please help! they made the video too high of a quality to stream. you can try till your blue in the face and it aint gonna stream smoothly. someone posted the direct links to the files on another thread, just download the videos instead. they run anywhere from 16mb for the small versions to 75mb for the larger ones. | |

someone posted the direct links to the files on another thread, just download the videos instead. they run anywhere from 16mb for the small versions to 75mb for the larger ones. Sounds good. I checked out that thread and the links earlier. When I enter them in my browser, I get taken to the homepage for the Club. From there, usual login, etc, it's the same story. I'm not even trying - i found the links on another thread and they worked fine...I done have fast access...even the reflection mp3 doesn't play smoothly 4 me...but when I tried the 'download' links...no problem and they r on my PC 4ever!
I ain't downloading all the vid files..I have a MB limit 4 downloading so i guess I'll wait 4 the DVD 2 come out...hope they wake up and see that we aint all got broadband and we ain't all got the time 2 sit on our PCs all day ...VIP room is a joke...by the time I got the email it was all closed down...still I am glad we have something 2 complain about  |

I don't even get "buffering" I think my firewall may be in the way but I don't know...the error messege is that the server is not responding.
has anyone found how to report issues yet? "not a fan"  yeah...ok | |
