I was a member for the first two years of the club. For the other two year members: Do you guys think P should do something really nice for us? Any suggestions? How about letting these members join up half-price?

Seriously - I think if Prince put as much effort into the music on the Club as he used to put into CDs etc then it would be a whole lot more successful.

Im a big fan of the NPGMC but,to me,it seems as if he is using it as an easy ride at times (especially Year 1). What I do find quite suprising,knowing how much hue says he likes his fans, i sthe lack of co-operation taht teh NPGMC seem to show with any problems people have. I appreciate that it is not Price DIRECTLY at fault for this but you also have to take into consideration that it is the ONLY link with Prince if he continues to turn his back on conventional music methods.

What I think woudl be really nice would be a couple of those extra download things that we got last year...or at least something that feels a bit like it might be a treat more than something just to fill up the $100 obligation after which you get nothing else.

However I really think that NPGMC has forgotten teh year 1 and 2 members as far as year 3 is concerned...afterall we no longer have access to contact details or our members details to even change email address (which is a bugger as I have just changed email address).

So,in short ,yes it would be lovely to get a treat but I really dont think it will happen...unles you pay extra for it.

I don't want any apology or reduction in price cuz of the poor quality of year 1 and the poor quantity & quality of year 2...

All I want is good quality produce from Mr. Nelson...
If he still is the musical genius he so often claims to be then let him give releases this year to albums the quality of:

Dirty Mind
Purple Rain
even
Diamonds & Pearls
Lovesexy
Come

remember nowadays you're a sucker if u pay over £10 for a new album... so for my $100 / £70
I'd like 7 albums the quality of the above...

I actually wrote to NPGMC before the beginning of year two. Prince had announced a tour. This was one of the reasons I joined in year one, then that tour was cancelled before it came to Chicago. I was disappointed but, you know, it's Prince, he does what he wants. I was a member from day one. The Audio Club downloads each month were brilliant. I copied them to CD and listen to them all the time.

Year two was great, especially with the perks we got for the tours.

I'll be joining whatever the cost (have to work overtime, if necessary) just wish it would hurry up and happen!!

Can u really say that we got our money's worth last year? I like the box set(but it's non exclusive to the club), the soundcheck was great though! The only exclusive thing to the club was the soundcheck. Everything else wasn't really worth the price. If Prince decides to really put it down and give us what we want...then I will be in. Let's all wait and see.

See you guys! I was more than right! lol! It was only 25 dollars! And...it seems they are following one of my suggestions...having somewhere where the members can communicate amongst one another. Cool!
