I'm going to give it a try (re: email). Thanks for the congrats. We are very excited. As much as I bitch about my responsibilites, I love every minute of it. So much that I put them in front of downloading songs--go figure

Yes they are! My 3 year old is awesome. He's at that age where he has mastered the language but not the pronunciation so hearing him talk is better than any Prince song I have ever heard lol

Really, all this bitching over $5 lost when the terms of the sale are clear is not a good look.

This is not in the same league as DRM rendering paid for files unplayable, or, a lifetime membership ending because a site closes, or, not getting a t-shirt with a membership to lotusflower.com, or, being charged for a 2nd year of lotus, etc., etc, etc...

Also, to be an "apologist", those of us that feel this way would have to be apologizing for Prince or for 3rdeyegirl.com for doing something wrong. I don't see any of that. They didn't violate the terms of the sale so there is nothing to apologize for in this case.

I have a very busy life, too, and, I would presume most of us do. This may be the reason the OP didn't follow through and get what he paid for, but, it also illustrates that it's his own fault he didn't get what he paid for, not the seller's fault.

Since Spanky is going to give emailing them a try, that means he hasn't already. How is it fair to bitch and moan and blame the retailer when you haven't even yet asked for an extension on the time limit?

This is just a bitchfest, not a legitimate gripe.

I get that those that paid for the downloads but for various reasons could not download them have a legitimate gripe. I can't agree that someone who got busy and forgot to download them within the time limit available has been wronged.

This is not about defending Prince or the website. This is about the OP admitting he didn't follow the terms of the agreement, which is not the fault of the retailer. His own post illustrates that this is his own fault, not 3rdeyegirl.com or Prince's.

So, let's stop being "apologist" for Spanky, 'kay?

UPDATE!!!

Prince is awesome again. I assumed that because the 14 day thing was disclosed upfront that I was SOL, but as it turns out I did email and it DID WORK! I got my tracks and I am a happy purple hippy again

To all the people calling me a dumbass, you are all entitled to your opinions. Heck, I called Prince a dick without even trying the whole email thing so i get it. To my supporters, you guys were very helpful in giving me options. Turns out the simplest one was the correct one.

To sum up, all is well, Prince is the man, and most importantly I love the new songs!!! Keep em coming, P. Sorry for the whole, ya know, calling you a dick thing. We love each other so we can have spats now and then.
