PROFITS from New WEBPAGE

OK, I know that not everyone is crazy about the thirdeyegirl webpage, but asthetics and the name are small beans to me. They can both be easily changed.

The thing that I like most about the webpage is that it's easy to understand. The menus are standard. The site is not a pay or subscription site, and it is VERY easy for customers to buy and download the material.

That being said, how much money do think Prince netted off of the distribution of 'Screwdriver' ?

Just guessing, ofcourse. Nobody knows but Prince. But how many people do you reckon bought it, and how much money would Prince have HYPOTHETICALLY made off of the distribution of that one song?

$ .88 x _____ = ?

with the limited amount of Promotion id say about 40,000-60,000 Downloads. Im pretty sure Rock and Roll love affair probably netted around 100,000.

The final answer to that question won't be known until after the 3rdEyeGirl tour is over.

These days, new music is generally a loss leader meant to get people to pay to see you live.

Screwdriver is also on itunes, I'm sure a lot of people probably downloaded that song from there rather than from his site.
