3rd Eye Girl: Trouble Logging In Anyone else having trouble logging in?
I am using the same browser I have used for all my purchases, my cookies are enabled, but for some reason when I went to the site it did NOT recognize my account.
I see they have enabled a log-in feature... but since initially accounts were created without passwords, I don't have a password... and the "password retrieval" feature leads me to an error page.
Then when I try to create a new account during purchase, it says "an account with this email already exists please log in." With what password? This is really ridiculous.
Prince & company, please get your shit together.
I have emailed them, and so far, they have not been of any help. [Edited 3/2/13 1:36am] "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

The very first time I visited and downloaded the initial batch of tracks, I created an account and password.
I think the second time I visited for the new track(s) they added, it remembered me (Cached info, cookies or whatever).
The third or fourth time they updated with new stuff, I had to type in all my info again, as if I was a new customer, and it did not prompt me to create a password at all.
Today I've just visited to download the LOL mp4 video and it prompted my for my email and password from the first visit, and it then retrieved all my details.
Consistent huh?

The website accepts only one session in a cookie at a time when you are logged on to avoid the use of the same accunt on several computers.
So basically you need to empty the cookies on the machine where you logged in successfully previously to the website. then you will be able to log from any other device.
There you go. | |

I tried the "password retrieval" feature but it just directs me to the "oops" page. "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

That's the thing. I'm not using any other device. Just the same machine, with the same browser. And the same cookies enabled. "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

does the "oops" page have a pic of prince knocking over the lamp from the james brown concert? Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton
