Lastnight I bought four of the downloads from the 3rdeyegirl site. I've been sent the links but none of them work!! If I click on the links it sends me to a page which says 'invalid download'. Have tried all the usual ways to download but they're not working

Has anyone else had this problem?

eye listened to the songs before buying and they all sucked so i didn't bother .. no problem here

According to their FAQ you can email them at 3rdeyegirl@gmail.com with the subject line of “Download Help” and they should be able to help you out.

WELL, I just purchased the new track, and can't even hear it.

It's a shame! I can not even listen to it, and I believe I probably was the first to download it! Haha..I just sent them an email! This is what it reads:

"I just purchased the new song 'THAT GIRL THANG' and to my surprise, for the first time, I was unable to open the file. It is not being recognized on my computer and that has never happen. AS soon as I checked 'My Account' the file does not even show up on my purchases. I really would like to hear this file, as you know! SO..How can I get this file, and what can be done about a possibly broken file?

I sent the email twice, and still have no reply. BUT It's only been a few minutes, I might have to wait in the morning, I hope not. I want to hear the file NOW! LOL

I want music but how do i get that from a blank page icon and a weird thing that isn't mp3, wav, flac, zip whatever please help. I'm not going to message them again cuz i did last week, so i'd be embarassed to do so again.

BUT, It's a ZIP FOLDER. SO don't delete the file. What you may need is a free application called 'Extract Now' which is the best thing you can use to extract zip folders!

Download that, and drag the file there, and extract it there. You should have no problems then!

I downloaded that girl thang as PDF file... I read earlier it would be a ZIP file, which I can handle, but renaming the file with .zip or .rar doesn't help... So, HALP!!

Downloaded without any errors using Chrome. Now if I could get my Order emails in a timely manner!

2. On the folder window, click on 'Organize' and scroll down to 'Folder and Search Options'

3. Go to the 'View' Tab and uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types'

4. Rename the song with '.zip' at the end of it

5. Open file and extract (Song is in WAV)

my issue is having to fill out the entire form each time and doesn't look like there is any way to get an account

so i fill it out, then wait for the email with the link to download

great way for prince to make money but wish it were easier for us

Embarassed? To ask for help from a very shoddy website for a wealthy artist who spent the least amount of money possible to get songs out on the market? If Prince's choice to run the website was to pay $500 to some fan in Uptown, or $125 to some slave labor in China, don't even think for a minute that ethics would somehow grab hold of him.

The good news, is whoever is doing the site does seem to do a good job with all the technical problems. Of course, a download site in 2013 should have ZERO technical problems. This is about as dumb as NASA having poorly made stairs in their building.

Of course, when you are notorious for not spending money, you will have technical issues.

Guys - chill out. I also had problems - the downloads from today aren't showing up on my list in my account, nor have I gotten an e-mail confirmation (only got one from PayPal). Obviously there's a bug, and I'm sure our answers will come tomorrow (i.e. when not a holiday). We are talking about 88cents a song here, so this isn't exactly a major theft...

3 emails sent since Friday, one puzzling response on Saturday. Eventually I solved the problem on my own.

I ordered "That Girl Thang" today, and I received my email to download that song (which I didn't need, since I registered an account), but I still have not received an email to download the other songs I purchased before opening an account. Three days, and still no response to the email I sent them.

How long does it useally take for the email te arrive.
I paid through PayPal and then credit card like they suggest on the site.
I didn't come across anything that gave me the change to make an account on the 3rdeyegirl
site itself.

I don't get it.

I ordered and dloaded "Boyfriend" one time. Whe I went back to the link via me email it said this -

Total BS. Of course I havem;t heard back from them & figure i never will. Pretty tacky.

Also a seperate problem but where do i log out? I couldn't find a tab. "You can come if you want to, but y'all can't never leave"
