I still paid for the downloads and they still got their money. No harm, no foul. Its not paranoia, I'm just wary of sites who want my personal information.

Well, I have already posted my thoughts on the song and website, PAGES back. I made this comment, because since then, I noticed a lot comments about format, and the complaints surrounding the sound and downloading. I don't find myself complaining at all though; I simply addressed how easy it would be to start another thread instead of overloading why the music should be in this or that. I love all the songs too, and I wish for more! I don't think I am confusing anything either. I just mentioned another thread that would detract the other questions that are being proposed without even listening to the music. That's all! People can like or dislike..it's UP to them!

It legally protects them and you. I totally understand your choosing to not give them that information, I might have done the same. But think about how often you're asked for that information online (at least I have been). Nothing ever comes from it. The information I refuse to supply them with is my real phone number.

Mp3 or AAC's 128-192kps are fine by me if i'm just putting it on the player...anything higher wait for the CD or maybe they could give the choice...

Another good reason I'm not buying...

Besides audio and music, I'm also a Cyber Security consultant.

I'll just hold off on anything until Prince releases an album in physical format. If he decides not to, so be it.

Wow! I'm more than happy for mp3 but I'll be buggered if I'd pay for a 128k anything from Prince. Even 192 is pushing it.

^ It depends what you need it for. Having 2 or 3 different compression options is probably a good idea....

Yes, options are definitely a good idea.

But if only one choice is given, then top quality would be essential. Especially considering how easy it is to convert stuff with free software these days.

I actually like the sound of 192 kbps mp3s, 320 kbps (which is usually the option offered) has too much of a tinny sound on the high end for me. Keep in mind, I'm not making any claims about quality, just the way they sound in my ears. But I would NEVER pay for 128 kbps mp3s. That's a number from the past.

When I log into the site 1/4 of the page has a white background. This is the exact same color as the words. So when I try to order the songs I cannot read half of what is written on the page.
