Who Owns A Credit Card?

Yes, its Prince-related...

I have no credit whatsoever after getting into difficulties.

How am I s'posed to join the NPGMC? I've missed out on so much already.

Why can't he accept cheques through the post or something?

I don't have any either so don't feel bad. When I first joined the club, I sent them a rather nasty e-mail(which I now regret) because it seemed unfair to have a fan club where you couldn't join unless you had a credit card, a hundred bucks and the internet. I have a friend who is a much bigger Prince fan than I and she couldn't join. But you get discriminated against a lot for not having a credit card, so I just had a friend charge my membership for me and I took my friend with me to see Prince when he came here to Chicago.

I mean, I've downloaded quite a lot of stuff from Kazaa but I am missing loads.

Isn't only having one payment method practically encouraging file-sharing? If I could pay for it, I would.

They do have pre-paid credit cards now. I use one to avoid interest charges and charging more than I can afford to pay. Your balance is whatever amount you place on the card. It costs $4.95 per month. If you want info you can go to www.mymccard.com.
If U set your mind free, baby, maybe U'd understand...

The only one encouraging file sharing is Prince himself. Free the freakin' music for Pete's sake!

Does the NPGMC accept PayPal? I have a card so I never checked, but that would be a way that anyone with a checking account could buy merchandise or join the club, if there is such a thing any more.
Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

when it first launched the only way you could pay was through paypal, but it caused a few problems in delays in getting accounts set up i think...worth dropping them a mail about it, they must still have an account i guess...
