How hard would this have been to post?

This is rather lame I know, but it does not elude to anything. No hints as to what will happen next. No hints as to how they felt about NPGMC year 2002.

A simple statement, a bone thrown so to speak.

Good manners? (I think yes) Good business? (I think yes)

Does he OWE us anything? Of course not, but something to this affect would have been nice.

So, ya'll will look, but not post eh?

Yeah, I got my moneys worth before the 3 CD Box Set even...

But that's my point...even that tiny amount of information would be better than the nothing we have right now!

It's a bit cold to just close the club with no thank you's or incitation to the next.

Just something to the effect of a WRAP-UP would be cool. Or a teaser for next years offerings...

The NPGMusicClub will also have a fresh and COMPLETE update redesign and will now include ultra rare photos from Prince's career, since started to the present day!

And let us not mention an incredible release of albums as they were originally intended! That's right, Camille's been seen around the Park holding a Funk Bible and looking at three Crystal Balls ya'll! Thank you and see you in 2003!!!"

It would have been courteous to e-mail all the members, even if it was to simply say that they weren't sure whether the Club would continue or not.
Just because a number of people weren't happy with the NPGMC, doesn't meant that the Club should ignore those who enjoyed it.

It's just another case of the NPGMC not knowing how to deal with customers.

I wrote it the way I did as to not imply future plans. My inital "email" was much like yours FlyingCloudPassenger, but I thought it best not to give details as they lead to so much speculation.

There's no word Red...kinda my point...they didn't have to lay out a public business plan, but a little info would have been rite decent of them.

i haven't given up on NPGMC, i think PRINCE just wants us 2 sweat for awhile because of the idiot members that filed a complaint with BBB.NPGMC will return, and knowing PRINCE, he is going 2 outdo himself this time.just have faith in our PURPLE MAN

"idiots" who complained about the club didnt shut it down. The club brought it upon itself. Is it the shoppers fault that Kmart went bankrupt?

Actually, as you should know from reading this message board, whenever someone emails the club asking about 2003, the club says exactly that. And they have been saying it since January. They didn't make a big deal about it but they do respond when you email them. But seriously, when a service ends (like they said it would ALL last year), they have no reason to continue with communication at all really. It's over - done, turn out the lights on your way out. Why should they continue talking to you like you're a paid-up member that is somehow "owed" something? They are in Maui or wherever soaking up the sun, let them have their vacation!

What are we missing really? The most concise, detailed and lengthy thing they ever sent me were the infamous "12 questions". I NEVER vistied the site, and basically sat around waiting for Prince to announce tour dates or waiting for a CD to be released...

kinda' like now.
