Working 2gether

Well , 4 quite some time now the npgmusicclub website is on the back burner . Nice of them 2 bring back the retail section I guess . Im wondering what ever happened 2 all the people who sighned up at the end of the year & within a few months the site went kapput . Well why not lets work 2gether & stop wandering around in the dark . 4 those of U who did contact the bbb , what did they say ? I am shure that a server or some type of corprate partner of the New Power Generation can say what is going on . No more speculation . We pay 100 $ in good faith to a service we cant access ??? . We dont even know if there will ever be an actuall site ever again exept 4 the retail depo . Im sorry , I admit im spoild , but b4 I had the internet all I could learn about Prince was what I rarely saw on tv & what I could figure with common sence in listening 2 his music . I respect all aspects of his privacy , but I cant even get an answear from the one email address at the bottom of this half done webpage . lets get 2gether & come 4ward with what is really happening .

Prince does not care about fans or fams only about the money. Until he runs out of money than the club will come back.

What are you talking about? You made a post saying that perhaps people should contact the BBB because they cannot access the website.

All money paid to the NPGMC was for services rendered in 2002. No money has been taken for 2003 yet.

My guess is they are getting on with their lives. They signed up for NPGMC 2002, and, well ... it'

s 2003

??? You seem a tad short of a coherent plan with a worthwhile objective to achieve. So we all 'work 2gether', we 'stop wandering around in the dark' and the people who contacted the bbb reveal what was said ... and the result is ???

A 'server' or a 'corporate partner of the New Power Generation' (whatever they are) ... is not going to reveal anything. Those that have received an email through the website have been told that they know of no details about the club for 2003 but will inform people when they have detail. It's a standard reply, so live with it.
We pay 100 $ in good faith to a service we cant access ??? .
You paid $100 for NPGMC 2002 - check the calendar date.

Let's not.

I recieved a written reply from the BBB which explained something to the extent that they do not pursue cases when money is not involved.

When I filled out the complaint form, in one part of it you're asked the monetary amount you're disputing and would like refunded. I left this blank because I wasn't seeking a refund from NPGMC, I was just complaining about the way they ran it and some of their promotional material throughout the year.

However in the letter the BBB also explained that the complaint form, along with any others, will not go unnoticed. And that after a certain amount of complaints is recieved towards a certain company, it will trigger an investigation into their business by the BBB.

There is a list of complaints the BBB will and will not handle at their web site.

But like the above posts say, 2002 is over along with the NPGMC package. Xpecation and the aftershow downloads were definitely a step in the right direction (and actually my favorite album out of both NPGMC years combined!). But its unfortuneate that this kind of stuff happened after the fact instead of throughout the year when fans were wondering what the heck was going on with the club, and several months at a time would go by without nothing.

Here we go again, "BBB" this pisses me off, really pisses me off... You paid for 2002 and you'll get what we all had during this year, period.

Prince is taking time off. He probably won't tour this year or do a lot of business so maybe he feels it isnot worth charging 100 dollars? Who knows? Maybe he doesn't want to communicate with the Fams anymore, but who knows?

There is and has been a lot of changes since this JW stuff just like I thought would happen. Noone really knows what he is going to do next, but the man has to earn money.

I guess it's nice that the retail is open?

My opinion is ,if he is going to have retail up he should at least have a website.
