I don't know what the hold up is with the NPGMC, but it appears the Club is in limbo at the moment. I really want the Club to continue, so, maybe positive and honest statements can push for the Club to continue. Here are just a few of the things that came to my mind that I love about the Club...

• $100 a year is not a bad price at all...it breaks down to $8.33 a month.
  
  
• Getting the opportunity to buy tickets within the first few rows of the concerts (how great is that?)
  
  
• Getting new music
  
  
• Getting to be a part of something great while supporting Prince's musical freedom
  
  
• the Celebration, though it is hard to classify as strickly for Club members
  

I know the Club has its faults, and needs some improvements, but with our voice it can be done. Just like the concert ticket issue in 2002, it was vastly improved promptly. One thing I would like to see with the 2003 NPGMC is more member activities and interaction (ex. more chats, small contests). Also, I like the downloadable version of the NPGMC because of the videos.

So, how many would like to see the Club back up and running? what improvements do you want to see? Even if you don't like the Club, tell what changes would change your position.

I really liked the Ahdio shows from Year 1 and the videos of course.

I miss the club just because I used to really look forward to listening to something new and different sounding whether I liked or found it a bit odd. Either way to me its exciting and stimulating and I don't mind paying the $100
(cheap at the price really).

I just miss the xperience of the club and to me what seemed to endless possible things it could do. I would like to see a hybrid of 2001 type downloads and 2002 cds plus some contests occasionaly.

good post...there's far 2 many negative opinions around here. yes, they r opinions but wouldn't it b cool if we could make a step in the right direction 4 once...there's 2 much negativity in the world right now.

Pleaze bring back npgmc 4 2003, like erendira says, there's enough constructive criticism here 2 right the wrongs.

If there is no club in 2003, blame Prince for doing a bad job in 2002 and prompting people to complain. We shouldn't be surprised the club flopped and he lost interest, after all, a leapard cannot change its spots!

Besides, the reason there is no club right now is because he has no album to release. As soon as he does, you can bet that he'll institute a method in which his blind followers like me can pre-pay in advance, and pay above-retail pricing in exchange for some small token download or freebee that the yaysayers will then argue justifies everything!

If you attended any of the concerts and the celebration in 2002 than you got your moneys worth. If you didnot attend and got your moneys worth that isnot Prince's fault.

If we all e-mailed and thanked them for 2002 and let them know we wanted it to continue in 2003 maybe that would help. But maybe Prince isnot going to do much of anything in 2003 and can't see charging a hundred dollars.
