What would you want from a new Prince site?

I'll start:

Regular news updates, even if just a cryptic message here and there.

NO subscription sites - there are better ways of monetizing these days.

Simple navigation - easy to get to everything.

Some form of social integration comments-wise (ie using IntenseDebate or Disqus to allow people to comment on news items using their Facebook/Twitter accounts)

I'd love to see an Itunes style site. Have all his post-WB material available. Single songs for $1, videos for $2, albums for $12 or soemthing... Call it Ptunes lol

I really don't understand why he doesn't do this. People are going to download his music illegally anyway, so at least have this as an option for those who want to do the right thing. Plus unlike Itunes, he'd be making almost total profit.

No mazes, no riddles, no perfumes, no 'words 4 ur mind' rants - just access to the funk and updates on real news - concert dates, release news etc., maybe some pics from on tour etc. Keep it simple. The content of NPGMC, with the simplicity of 3121.com...

I still don't get it his reasoning though. He can still do all the fancy promo stuff with new releases (free in newspapers, exclusive retailer deal, free at concerts etc.), but at least make the older stuff available (1995-2007 material). Like I said, it just doesn't make any sense when there would be a lot of people getting this music for free from friends or from torrents etc. who would be willing to pay for it officially...

I would like more photos from all his years, this being with band members, to that of those that have worked with him.

We'd love to see more of his wardrobe, for I know that's going on! I'd like to see his clips here and there, to give bite to maybe a DVD collection set of his gigs and interviews and such. Hope not too pricy for those wishin their own copy!

peace out:-D

I'm all for all of that Militant.

I would add a simple way to download (for a reasonable fee) lossless versions of post WB material, maybe even some live recordings too, and also have the option to purchase hard copy cd's.

Pay per track/album/live show, NO subscription charge.

One can only dream huh?

well it does make some kind of Prince sense that he doesn't do this and is consistent with his own internal logic, which is to say it's absolutely not at all logical, a complete turnaround from his stance 10-15 years ago, and exactly the opposite of the guy who was railing against record companies and the way they do business lol

Not sure if one exist, but I thought a suggestion box, be it not with only ideas for this forum, but in general. If this is too vague, here is what I wish to say:

I think Prince should open a Music School, this in turn would have such an affect!

My wish list:

Pay per download for songs, albums, videos, ahdio shows, ringtones, etc.

Prince action figures with interchangable wardrobe(s) for each era (studio
release perhaps? Imagine classic purple rain figure with white cloud guitar,
sign 'o' the times figure with white fur coat & glasses, the revolution
figures series & matching instruments, and the infamous gett off jeans
figure! And who could forget a matching morris day & the time action
figure set to one-up the revolution)

Guitars! Replicas of all the guitars he's used in his career
