I became a Prince fan in 1982 when I bought the 1999 album -- 2 this day, I still pull out my original vinyl copy and enjoy looking at the art while the album crackles on my turntable. And then I pull out my new LotusFlow3r double vinyl and do the same. Prince has a legion of fans that for the most part have adored him for DECADES. He is an entertainer with truly amazing talent. There simply is no disputing it. That's WHY we adore him and he KNOWS that. WE were the reason he had the balls to take the stand that he did with Warner Bros. because he knew that WE as his FANS would be there for him and WE WERE! We all know how the story goes from there but let's look at it realistically shall we...without a record deal Prince's financial support came directly from his fans! Whatever he was selling, we were buying and happily so! Mismanagement, bad decisions and total fuck ups, be damned! Fast forward to 2010 and I have no idea where the truly amazing talented Prince is! All I've seen for quite some time now is a distressingly, depressing imitation, totally disconnected from his fans and what makes us fans in the first place! Of course with the exceptions of when he needs an injection of cash and decides to throws us peons a piss poor half ass bone!

If Prince does check out this site like many suspect then all he's seen for the past year is a whole lot of moaning and groaning. Some justifiable and some just uncalled for. Most recently the org has spent more time reveling in Prince's legal troubles and wishing more upon him. So maybe he got the message and decided to stop making music that no one appreciates and reaching out to those who have repeatedly posted they no longer care. So many orgers can post a banner MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! If you're truly done with this incarnation of Prince then don't support his future endeavors(concerts, CDs, websites, colognes, etc.). Just part ways with the good memories of music that did something for you.
