Almost, there's still the floating ball/orb thing and the bg music. If you put your mouse off it, it all goes away. Wonder how this fits for those that paid $77 for a years access a few months in? It's been bad enough having the full year anyway, if someone joined after six months, then they will be really pissed!

Wooooow. I was just about to ask about that. I see it's not just me. It sure is gone. I'm glad I got my shirt, but I have to be really honest--I lost interest. After messing with everything that could be messed with, the site wasn't that interesting. I was happy about seeing some of the videos and stuff. I dunno why I thought this one would stick.

*soft sigh* Oh well. I don't think I'll be contributing to his next site. I love his work, but um...that 77 put a hurting on my wallet that I thought I'd get back in some optical/audible way....

Sent an email to the correct address asking that my membership not be renewed.

Changed my credit card details this week.

Today, I get a call from my Bank ('Fraud' section would you believe?)that $77 has been debited from my account.

I reside in the UK, so my card is protected by Visa, and if nothing changes in the near future, they can attempt to claw the money back.

But I strongly advise you check your accounts, call your providers.

It's back. Nothing new as far as I can tell.

well it's not back here. all i see is the orb and as soon as i go
over it with my cursor, the orb disappears into the distance and
nothing comes in it's place. even the music stops.

i guess the only slightly positive thing here is that there will likely
be a continuation of the website in some form or another.

i'm gonna wait a little while before i contend the charges to my card.
if there's gonna be a 'new galaxy' with another 3 albums in the next
few days, i'll most likely just let it slide.

all we want to know is whether there is going to be a site, and if so what is likely to be on it, and for those who cancelled their memberships for that to be acknowledged and for them not to be rebilled.
A little administration and a form letter would defuse this.

Looks like there's going to be tons of threads on the same thing. Anyway, I clicked on that blue orb, and *poof!* ..just like magic...everything went black. Who knows, either they are fixing it or ending it, but then again, they did take the $77.00.

new music, fcuz there will be new music. and as an independant
artist, i'd not even have a problem with paying more for his new
stuff than i'd pay for a regular cd in stores. but at least have

The fact that the orb is still here means something's coming up.

I'm not saying it'll necessarly be something great, but if the site had been closed, even if automatic renewal'd been done by mistake, there wouldn't be anything left but a black page.

Now the lack of communication and getting money from people who asked their membership canceled is a major tactical mistake.

There'd better be 10 albums of unreleased material available when the site gets back or i'm afraid Prince had definitely lost any future consumer for any future website.

The MF could have had the courtesy of letting us know that he was going to do that. That's what REAL businesses do.

Tax problems hit the press, figures also that Prince has other things to concern himself about than the site. I do hope he hasn't caught the MJ bug.
