Hey Everyone.....
The topic of the day is the so called " LOTUSFLOWER WEBSITE."
Now in trying not 2 be so negative here....why is it that we the HARDCORE FANS dished out $77.00 of our hard earned cash for a website that came up way short amongst it's huge promise to be something very special. What really makes me upset is that PRINCE asked his dedicated fan base to shell out this $77.00 payment to him during a really severe time financially in AMERICA? People were losing their jobs at a ridiculous rate and money was becoming harder and harder to come by for many. Ok.....PRINCE had his reasons.....but if you are going to ask for a payment of $77.00 doesn't it make perfect sense to keep up his end of the deal???
I will say that the spinning musical video ball is a tremendous idea but it does not feature enough rare material for the hardcore here. Most of us posses much of what that ball is spinning already and if anyone is paying PRINCE the $77.00 for his new website then he has to bank on the fact that it is the HARDCORE indeed that will be looking for the rare of the rare by the MPLS GENIUS.
I will also say that The website does look nice, it is great to get to download the three albums from 2009, and also thank you PRINCE for putting up a few rare live gems from your PARIS 2009 stay.....but in total what this website has featured over the course of the past year.....is no way worth the dollars that your fans have paid to you.
So PRINCE if your out there.....they said that you are FUNKY.....so please partake on your end to this major problem that has occurred with the fan base and make good on the promise that you began with those exciting but overall disappointing emails letting everyone know that this website will be worth the $$$$$ in a downtime financially for AMERICA.
Thank you PRINCE if your out there. You fans love you and we are here with you awaiting your very next move. We have always supported you and have been there for you through thick and thin especially during the 1990's. You do in fact bring lots of joy to all of us with your remarkable albums and concerts so why not bring more joy to the fans via your website. So please do the fans right and give up the car keys this very night.
I so remember the days of coming home from work on a FRIDAY night to log online with that amazing NPG MUSIC CLUB that did in fact feature many musical downloads as it was well worth every dime we all spent. What happened and why is it that type of success ended???
So PRINCE I ask you as a friend.....
" WHEN WILL WE B PAID 4 THE $$$ WE SPENT?"
