Well....N a couple of weeks it will be a year anniversary for lotusflow3r. May B he will do something special. Like start the Jam of the year concerts to celebrate. That would be nice.

Considering how Prince seems to have lost any kind of interest in this project, i'd tend to think that either he will shut the site down by 3/29/2010 or maybe leave it as it is for a few more months out of consideration for members who suscribed recently, at least until he comes up with a new album & related site.

I also don't think we will be offered to renew membership (it would be an absurdity if things keep being the way they are) and another possibility is that the site will just stay there until the last paying member's year is done, then disappear, with little if any update in the meantime.

Now i sincerely hope that i'm all wrong and that we'll have some kind of a good surprise for what might be Year 2. It's just that there's just NO reason to think such a thing would happen...

I'm really curious to see how this will end up/evolve anyway...

i am content and thankful with the membership for the year past. as soon as you have expectations then the problems come in2 the ego. when u have problems with another, it is really within urself and they are just the mirror 4 u.

The tracks released on LF from the Paris stint, Mountains etc were illegally downloaded for free by many, but that doesn't make them worthless.

And don't forget, the CD was not available for 11,99 in EU or around the world at your local supermarket. Seems that Prince just did the Americans, who perhaps couldn't afford to join the site, a financial favour.

I have had no hot water for two months due to very unreliable plumbers. They have let me down. I can understand what you are saying but in the way we all live that is not what happens. Enlightenment is fine in films, books, ideologies, thoughts, myths and poetry but let's face it, it's total bollocks in reality. It just doesn't happen.

I think P should look into doing a monthly subscription. Keep it live...or people will leave. For a man that is constantly creating, he should raise money for some benefit if he doesn't need. I'm not a genius so no idea what goes through the mind of one.
