Sorry but i cannot reply to the help sticky. So i created this topic.

What is the verdict on the Tshirts?

As already mentioned we have paid our money for the Lotusflower membership and was promised a Lotus Flower tshirt. Now im sure all of you are in the same boat here. We waited and waited no tshirt and we contacted support and they gave excuses for the delay. However no one has received the tshirts. Then prince.org set up this page for some action to be taken on this. And we all gave our usernames and its been a few months. What is the update?

Where do we go from here? Is there a Consumer Affairs company that we can all collectivally take up this matter? Does prince.org have any updates? Do we continue to email Lotusflower support?

What is the update on this?

PS- I thank prince.org for setting up this page. Im just fustrated on the update. I want the tshirt that i and others promised.

I'm not a LF member, but what a slap in the face to not get those shirts out to you guys after stiffing everyone on site content. It's just a shitty t-shirt, but fuck a monkey... it about some principal now.

I would definitely look into some type of action. One of the best things to do these days is create a blog dedicated to ripping entities like lotusflow3r.com a new asshole. They usually end up getting more hits than the legit site, attract media attention and get noticed by those it's aimed at.

lotusflow3r-sucks.com has a nice ring to it.

I too signed the list and was delighted at the glimmer of hope it offered, but now it looks as though that has disappeared along with the t-shirt not to mention the glimmer of hope.

it seems likely that the petition has been offered to lotusflower but
no answer has been received to date. well, that would seem like a very
logical explanation, given the nature of lotusflower until now.

i'm truly anxious to see what will happen 6 weeks from now when the
1st year is over. i'm guessing nothing at all will happen. the site
will stay online and the content will never change anymore. they'll
probably not even comment at all, on anything.

to me it seems like the site is dead and has been since about 1 month
after the launch. we got some scraps, just because so many people
were complaining. same thing as npgmc, in fact. i feel that if none
of us had complained or emailed them, they wouldn't have even bothered
putting up the montreux vids or those 3 live mp3s.

do the people who started the site even run it anymore? seems to me
like they're too busy selling their 'art' and promoting it thru the
site.

i'm still holding out for an explanation at least, or some more music
at best, come next month. but for now, the odds seem to be 90 / 10 in
favor of total non communication and non content.

Part of me likes to think that somehow this is going to be like a Prince encore...

The gig appears to be over, minutes pass, the house lights come on, more minutes pass, people start to leave, even more minutes pass, then... even more minutes pass, the suddenly Prince is back onstage rocking out while everybody rushes back to their seats!

Will the website behave the same way and will I ever get my t-shirt...?

I think you're probably right. It would follow in Prince's past online footsteps if there were a last minute offering to members to save face. I would bet on an albums worth of material offered at the end of the subscription year.

i think people overseas have a good case especially if they have been charged extra postage to receive their free t-shirts.

It is still a damn shame that people got stiffed on the Crystal Ball fiasco with not even so much as a apology from Prince but to continue shitty business practices with those willing to pay for product, your fans even, is just fucked up.
