Something Weird on NPG Retail I got an email from NPGMC with a link to Retail. I followed the link and went to buy something. it asked me to log in with my email address and my password (NOT famname and password).
I entered my emale address and password and was told my password was wrong. They emailed my password to my email account. I checked it and it was my old, old password from the 1-800 NEW FUNK days. I used the password, got to the checkout and they had my OLD address on the system. I entered my new address and went to credit card - they did not have any details and asked me to re-input my credit card details (which NPGMC should already have). Just to be safe, at that point I checked Ur Account and there was nothing there, even though I have ordered lots of things from NPGMC. Have NPGMC just screwed up their records, or is there something funny going on?

They are using your old non-member record set. You are not accessing the membership premium retail area, which is not open. This has been the arrangement since the site came back online.

Clearly they still have former membership names and passwords because access to the member area to download the Xpectation and other music files is still required. Exactly why they have reverted in this way is not clear, but it doesn't appear to prevent anyone from purchasing items. . Incidentally, I checked the 'UR Account section' for my own account, and this still displays my purchases prior to NPGMC membership. . I've seen a couple posts about still being able to access the Xpectation downloads in the members area of the website. Maybe I'm blind but I just don't see where the links are for this. Can anyone help?
