NPGMC wants more $$$ I wonder when they're gonna stop emailing us. There is no NPGMC anymore, so they might as well quit sending its ex-members emails about stuff nobody cares about.
High, One Nite Alone Tourbooks, One Nite Alone T-Shirts, Xenophobia Candles, Symbol keychains, and the Days of Wild CD Single have all been restocked in NPG RETAIL, plus many more items: http://www.npgmusicclub.c...index.html Love4oneanother, The NPG Music Club - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ur famname is *** Thank u 4 supporting NpgMusicClub.com. They must not want money from all of the 2002 members because I didn't get this e-mail...and didn't get a number of other e-mails throughout the year. I did receive the Empty Room e-mail, though. ?? Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

I just got that email, myself.
It's cool for them to keep in touch with updates, I don't mind that one bit.

so they tell you they restock some stuff and you say they want more money. If they didn't tell you no doubt you would be complaining about how they never update the members. jeez. it's a simple courtesy email, give them a break.

r u serious? A whole new instrumental album (Xpectation - i.e. Xenophobia without the titel track), then Empty Room live and four soundcheck instrumentals, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. Look around on the org for the links, they may not be up for much longer.

Why post something you care nothing about? I don't care about ONA T-Shirts and Xenophobia candles, for Christ's sake. I do care about my membership in a club that does not exist anymore, at the moment at least - as you can see on the website - but continues sending me emails. "How embarrasing to be human!"

Wouldn't it have been nice if they did this throughout the year?
I looked over the retail, and the only new items are still the calender and the ONA Live set (which we already have). The email was basically to tell us they finally got the other stuff in stock.

xpertlover! show use all the e-mail telling you npgmc no longer exists.
No of course you can't because as with the rest all you got was downloads, and not a mail asking for more cash. i think you've lost the plot. go sit down and listen to a bit of britney, maybe that will bring you to your senses.

I'm not sure that will work. Besides, I do not feel that I have to be brought to my senses, thank you.

But anyway: There have been several e-mails from the NPGMC last year in which they stated that NPGMC 2002 ends Dec 31st, 2002. Xpectation and the other downloads were nice good-bye presents. But the thing is finished. Will there be an NPGMC 2003? Who knows. I for one don't think it will happen, because Prince doesn't seem to be able to stick with a system for more than a year or two. But maybe I'm wrong - in any case, that's not the point. As of right now, there is no NPGMC, only NPG Retail. And that's all I'm complaining about. I signed up and paid for new CDs, not for Xenophobia Candles. They can add a mailing list to their site for those who want to be informed about new calenders and whatever floats their boat. If the NPGMC 2002 is over, then they have nothing else to offer me - so they should leave me alone. Right? "How embarrasing to be human!"

What was NPGMC's reply when you wrote them & asked to be removed from their mailing list? Or did you just plan to keep coming back here to complain over & over again?

They will prob keep current members on their mailing list to offer them year 3 if there is a year 3. Alot of online businesses do this, send you offers even after you've left their service. Don't get me wrong, I'm not too fond of NPGMC myself (hence the screename) but if they want to throw out some extra stuff (downloads, merchandise, etc) after the fact, so be it. Xpectation was cool. The NPG retail section never interested me to begin with because most of the merchandise is downright tacky. You should prob send a request to them asking to be removed from their mailing list.
