PrintableI have hope that the club will reemerge in 2003. Both the 2001 and 2002 clubs began in February and it is not February 2003 yet. I agree with many of the other postings -- we'll just have to be paticient until we hear an official announcement from the NPGMC. PLEASE, if anyone gets an email from the NPGMC, let us know. We're all keeping our fingers crossed! | |

Last night after I asked if anyone besides jonb has written the NPGMC for any answers on 2003 I wrote them this: {Just out of curiosity will the NPG Music Club be functioning for 2003? Don't know when to renew. Please reply.} and today I received a response from them saying...{High We're very sorry, the 2002 design of the NPG Music Club has been closed. There is no future in4mation at this time. But once more in4mation on continuing in 2003 is available, we will emale all the members immediately. Thank u 4 ur patience and understanding.} So what do y'all think about that folks...The man once said he would keep performing for as long as he could keep jumpin off pianos, so I say don't trip potato chip... -------------------------------------------------

Just release to retail as an indie artist, that's fine. I'm sick of playing NPGMC games.
It works for Ani DiFranco and I'm very happy to go to the store to buy her stuff. Make downloads free from the NPGMC web page. It's called "promotion". Membership should add something more. Getting music is something for the wrecka stows, not FedEx or the internet which will inevitably exclude people from getting the music. Or maybe I'm just speaking from personal experience.  | |
