We are so excited, shame nobody else is, to announce that our brand new and unique shite exhibit from Prince was a huge success! The response was amazing, boasting only staff and hangers' on who came together to make the opening party at the San Francisco Art Exchange in downtown San Francisco a wonderful farce.

Prince has never released artwork like this before, he used to know better, so naturally the response has been almost non-existant! Collectors as well as buyers from around the world have ignored one or more limited edition prints from this inspiring body of tosh to use in their personal collections or toilets of their own. One collector insisted on purchasing all 7 pieces for his collection! Before being escorted back to his secure psychiactric hospital bed, given some medication and strapped down for his own good.

Additionally, many LotusFlow3r members haven't shown even the slightest interest. LotusFlow3r members saved $150 or more off their fine art purchases! Simply by ignoring Lotushow3r.

Keep in mind, these are exclusive fine art prints with a limited production of only 99 per image. They are all signed by Prince's lead designer, Anthony Malzone alongside the iconic Prince Love Symbol which has been hand embossed into each print. Each piece measures 24" x 36" and is printed as a giclee digital print using high quality archival inks on acid free archival paper, so they shouldn't burn your arse if you choose to wipe using these.


As mentioned, this is the first time Prince has released anything like this. Hopefully the last. The project falls perfectly in place with his unbound creative impulses to explore his Narcissistic tendancies, new media and participate with his fans. There's rich people who will buy anything, and there's hardcore fans who'll stretch to $1000, but do you think they're going to sell 693 prints, by an unheard of designer/artist, for $1000!?
There's only the Prince link that gives them any value, but he hasn't signed them!

Did he paint this stuff or did he just create them on a computer?

I've seen crap on canvas and genius on screen...and vice versa. Don't get so hung up in how something is produced as whether you like the art or think it's a fair price.

Didn't know the good Dr. had live feed from the exhibit until today, but enjoyed seeing the framed, displayed artwork and the good turnout. I thought the ltd. prints were $1,000.00 with a 15% discount if you were a member of lotusfow3r. Does anyone know if the $1,450.00 price Sara showed was for a matted and framed print? I hope Prince follows through with a Montruex Dvd too. Did anyone catch the comment that was made by Anthony (I believe) about some other art work that Prince was collaborating on with someone else? If so, wonder what's going on with that? I would consider the four bills GiGi made mention of for Anthony's work and probably a little more if Prince put his signature on them, but I wish Prince would be a bit realistic about the economy today and the people that have supported his music from the very beginning. Many, if not most of us have families and responsibilities that prevent us from indulging in things that cost this much. If the DVD becomes available, perhaps most could afford that. Still lovin'the muzak and fond memories P.!!

I'm talking the art world at large, not just your personal opinion. I assume you either are not an artist or do traditional media only to have such a narrow opinion? And I agree it is overpriced. The guy needs to build a body of work if he expects such a high payout. Not just an embossed symbol.

Well, there's always an alternative. My alternative involves a couple clicks and a save button. I've got the pictures (they do make lovely screen backgrounds), and it cost me $0.00 bucks. Just a little less than what this "art" is worth to me.
