I can't believe $47,500 puts one in the top 1% I make more than that though. [Edited 10/26/09 10:34am]

$47,500 ain't shit. If someone doesn't know how to spend right they are good as dead making double that. Fuck making that - my fund make that. Make the money/market work for me so I don't work for the money. That's the new American way, and Michael Moore hates it. He was on Stern explaining his ideas. I believe he is partly right but doubt his films will ever stop the greed. And its not that simple to sum up the market being evil because Jesus wouldn't day trade? etc.
Prince, I believe he does a lot for charity and isn't vocal about it! Actually I know for a fact he does a lot that goes unseen. Much of what he does is unseen by us. Heck he maybe doing more for Charity than LotusFlow3r site!! but ohh well. I still believe Bono is the coolest musician ever - when it comes to trying to change the world. That guys heart is really in the right place = he is like Lennon = trying to change the world 24/7. But he also uses his status to get people involved. Something that Prince and a million other celebs do not do as well or efficient as Bono/U2 or even REM. Prince is more private.

That figure was in the world. In the US that would be quite different. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Micheal Moore's movie is put out by Paramount Films a subsidary of Viacom. Prince is primarily independent but must partner with the likes of Target, AEG and Universal for survival. I applaud Prince for encouraging people to see a progressive and enlightening documentary that will open minds to important issues. Your negativity is so elitist and contrary to political mobilization. Did you vote for Nader and indirectly GW? What does any of that have to do with Prince being one of the top 1% money earners in the world. Even Microsoft needs partners (Dell, HP, etc), that's completely irrelevant to who the top 1% or even the top 0.001% of money earners are. There are 6.7 billion people in the world, that means there are 67 million people in the top 1%. I suspect at least half are in the US, which is about 10% of our population. [Edited 10/26/09 5:18am] What are you a numerologist? What's the point? I guess Prince shouldn't recommend the Michael Moore movie base on your figures.

^^ who said that - I responded specifically to a post (a couple of posts actually) that said Prince wasn't in the top 1% richest people in the world, when he clearly is.

In the everlasting now, THIS girl is the most opulent. It's just a matter of perspective and value.

What a damn shame.
I quite liked Michael Moore for bowling for Columbine and Sicko, but this just looks like simplistic drivel. I would love to see it but I'm not sure I could stand all the easy shots that ignore the complexities of macro-economics.
